My Story | My mother wanted children badly, however her ex-husband was sterile. They ended up getting donor sperm, and having my sister and I. We have the same donor father. When I was 2 months old things weren’t working out well with my parents, and they got divorced. When I was under 2yrs my mother met the man I call my dad, and he raised my sister and I like his own and loved us unconditionally. He was truly the best dad. Now, I’m 28 years old, my sister is 30. I can’t seem to shake the curiosity about my donor father. At the end of the day, I’m just grateful for him, and the life I was blessed with, but I can’t help but wonder about him. Has his family medical history changed in all this time? What does he look like? Do I have half siblings out there? What if I dated one (eww)? I’m not hoping to find a long lost family, I have an amazing family. I just want to know more. |
