| My Story | I was born in Nashville, Arkansas and lived in Arkansas, Colorado and Mississippi by the time I was five. I lived in Mississippi for five years and finished the fifth grade there. I then moved to Alabama where I graduated high school and started my working adult life until I was drafted into the army in 1971. I received an honorable discharge from the army early in 1973 and after almost a year re-entered the army late in 1973. After serving a total of 13.5 years I was discharged honorably. For about the next two years I completed my associates degree and worked for a DOD contractor. In 1987 I was hired by the FAA where I worked until 2012 when I retired. I have now been retired for eight years and enjoying life and doing the things I love to do. |
