I’m still trying. 3 IUIs no hormones were not successful, now I’m trying again in march WITH hormones this time.
– Which clinic do you go to? I use Stork Klinik
– How did you choose this donor? I chose him because he’s caucasian as me, tall, good looking, emotionally balanced and seems open minded and easy going in his interview
– Did you have IUI or IVF?
– I guess you’re in a couple: are you with a boy or girl may I ask? I’m single.

No problem! Yes we are a couple(lesbians). Our clinic is in holland but we used Cryos Denmark. The reason we choose Bred is because my girlfriend is Brazilian and i am Dutch. So than our baby looks a little bit like me too;)
We used IUI. First time without hormones. Second time with. Did you speak with more people who used Bred. We are so curious what his babies look like….haha
I had a few emails with a girl named Goldnugget (elisapeth) who had her baby a few weeks ago.
I asked her for a picture but she hasn’t answered yet. She’s probably so damn busy! Last time she signed “sleepy mom” instead of her name … ^_^

Actually I’m more scared of having no children in my life.
I own a house, have a steady job, a mother and sister who might help and for the rest… I’m in God’s hands.
I believe zillions of women have raised kids on their own, and some didn’t have the luxuries of kindergartens, house heating, doctors and so on, so I think I’ll do all my best and pull it off somehow. Fingers crossed. ^_^

I am 41 but ny girlfriend(she is pregnant), is 31.
Did you have pain during the IUI? Or after? My gf had pain. Both times
First time: no pain at all. Slight discomffort a few minutes after but nothing more
Second time: nurse was NOT delicate and it hurt some during procedure. Not much afterwards
Third time: felt almost nothing.
What hurt was the Hystero Salpingo Ultrasonography: they spray water inside your Fallopian tubes to check if they’re open. High discomfort and cramps for the rest of the day :/
At least they were open. Good news!

We live in Amsterdam. Today 9 weeks and 3 day’s.
Is it scary for you to do this all alone?

oh, on my second IUI I even bled for about 3 days 🙁
