My mom was inseminated in the Royal University hospital, Saskatoon, Sk. The Donor gave samples July 11+13, and Sept 6 + Sept 8 1983. Dr. Simpson did the procedure. They supposedly, matched the sperm donor to blue eyes and brown hair. The donor would have blood type, A, B, or O; because I have blood type O. At the time, there were only 10-15 donors. They were all from the University community and they were probably acquaintances of Dr Simpson himself. I am interested in finding out about my donors medical history and possibly seeing a photo of him so I can see where I get my other half from. Also, I find it important to know my other bloodline so I can prevent possible inbreeding for my family. Being that Saskatoon is such a small city, there could be multiple brothers/sisters here that I don’t even know. The donor should be rest-assured that I do not want to disrupt his life if he is scared that I might do that. I am just curious. I am definitely interested in finding biological half siblings, as I only have one sister, also by A.I., who was created around Apr-May 1981. I don’t know if we have the same donor father or not.
