Known 'Donor' Information (or 'None') | Macquarie Pathology donor in mid to late 1980s. My wife & I had three children during those years. Sperm bank aquired by Canberra Fertility Centre in 1988. Consanguinity was then, and remains now, something we all would prefer to avoid. My medical history knowledge is now different to when I donated. Donor conceived children may be better off knowing it. For example, I was successfully treated for prostate cancer after my father died of it at age 91. |

Known Genetic Health History (or 'None') | Over two years ago I was successfully treated for early stage prostate cancer. It turned out to be fortuitous that I had asked to see a urologist before my GP recommended it. I have a family history of prostate cancer in elderly males. |
Age Discovered Donor Conception or Told Offspring | About 1989 I learnt of twins. Just now, (2016), I have learnt of six other births. These are all in seven different families. |
