My Story

I learned I was donor conceived when my youngest sister took a DNA test and our parents preemptively told us what she should expect. This led to my other sister and I also taking tests so that we could discover our individual heritages (the three of us were conceived using different donors). In addition to learning that instead of being (and looking) over 50% Irish, I actually have the least Irish of all of us, I discovered that I have a half-brother. We are local to each other, so we met up and created a relationship.

My brother used family trees and DNA matches to figure out who our donor is. The donor provided detailed medical information through a family member, but did not want anything more than that. Shortly after that, a new half-sister popped up. She lives out of state, but we are getting to know her online. We are all curious as to what the future holds, and if there are more of us out there!

I MADE A MATCH!
