My Story | My sister and I discovered we are only half sisters after we did the ancestry.com dna kit. We know our mother did fertility treatments at Dr. Michael O’Leary’s office around 1974-1978. She has found her birth father on this site. None of my “father’s” side of the family is a match for either of us on our matched DNA so I believe I was also conceived through a sperm donor. I have a condition called N.A.I.T. that happens during pregancy and it’s more than likely my biological father increased my chances of having this condition and it’s not unlikely that other woman conceived by this man were also effected. |
