My Story | I found out I was donor conceived when i was 43 when I took a DNA test and had unexpected results in my ethnicity report. After a month of denying anything being off, my mom finally admitted I was donor conceived. My parents only knew the donor was a University of Kansas medical student. I believe the insemination occurred at my mom’s doctor’s office in KC. I took DNA tests with other companies and found several half siblings. I was able to figure out who my bio father is. I have not been in contact with him directly, but three of his four kids are on one of the DNA sites and his daughter shared info with me. They believe there are probably about two dozen of us out there. So far I have found 6 DC siblings via DNA tests. Bio father has 4 kids he raised. |
