My parents married young and the man I knew as my dad my whole life could not have children due to cancer treatments, so they used artificial insemination to have me. I have no info on the donor, but what I’m really interested in is my medical history and family history on that side. All I know is that the procedure took place in Chicago in the fall of 1971. My mother believes it was at the University of Chicago medicine, and was the same place my dad was receiving experimental cancer treatments in 1971.
