another all nighter wishing i could find him knowing all i will gain staring at the computer screen is sleep deprivation yet still unable to close the computer or my eyes. this longing to know where i come from is eating away at me.

I can empathize with you…been there many times. I will say once you find your family, for good or bad, those sleepless nights will stop and you will have a sense of closure. That happened for me. Your profile says you haven’t DNA tested yet…have you considered doing that? It’s only $99 / test. Make sure you test on all 3 and purchase through DonorChildren’s links on the Resources page to support the site. Let me know if you need any help. Have you considered going to OHSU and seeing if there are any alumni pictures of graduated classes in the hallways? I did that at my University of origin (KUMC in Kansas City, MO) and found my father’s picture in ’85 after I found him through my DNA. If you do that make sure you take high resolution pictures and upload them to the OHSU group for others to benefit from. Keep at it and know you’re not alone! 🙂 @j-getz
I really want to do the dna tests but currently cant until i get a better paying job and more hours. i would go to look for alumni pictures but i don’t know for sure what college my donor went to my donor profile had very little information on him it said he was studying botany but not where. another reason i haven’t done the dna tests is because my moms make me feel guilty when i mention wanting to do one.
